51±¬ÁÏ

The Cardinal Activities Board Officers are responsible for the successful operation of the organization. CAB creates and produces multiple activities for 51±¬ÁÏ students each week including Cardinal Craze, Homecoming, Week of Welcome, and many more!

The CAB Officers communicate and negotiate contracts with performers, agents, managers, vendors, and student groups while overseeing event planning. They also research the latest trends in campus programming to stay relevant and current.

Officer Duties

• Build collaborative partnerships with 51±¬ÁÏ departments, student organizations, and community groups
• Work with Student Engagement Marketing for marketing needs
• Lead weekly meetings with CAB Members
• Educate CAB Members on CAB and 51±¬ÁÏ policies and procedures
• Promptly respond to all messages, voicemails, and emails
• Promote CAB events to the 51±¬ÁÏ community
• Positively represent the Cardinals Activities Board at on-campus and related off-campus events
• Maintain organized files and accurate records of events and membership to guide the work of future CAB Members
• Assist in planning and execution of CAB and select Setzer Student Center events
• Attend weekly Officer meetings
• Assist in managing recruitment and retention of CAB Members
• Assist in the creation of the CAB calendar of events; ensure CAB events do not conflict with relevant 51±¬ÁÏ or community events
